Here is our first autumn post originating from Jenny's "Daily Dose of Pretty" that she's been sending our staff and Friends gardeners since March 2020.
"Sorry folks, back to a baddie. All those gorgeous bright red bushes we see in the fall - burning bushes - are invasive. They put out thousands of seeds that get spread by birds. The seeds take root and choke out native understory growth in the woods and forests. Latin name is Euonymus alatus. Because of their lovely fall color, they were widely used in landscaping and are now quite difficult to eradicate."
