The Mums are Opening!

The mums are opening! This one returned from last year. This is the standard garden mum. But what about the fancy mums - the spider mums, pom poms, and anemone types? They’re called heirloom mums and I ordered four kinds for next year. They’ll ship in April and then begins what seems like an elaborate process of trimming to keep them bushy and to prevent them from budding out to soon. Another “fancy” flower project.
