Nuthatch onboard!

Jenny - Love my nuthatches. They are omnivorous, live in holes or crevices and can walk down a tree headfirst just like the titmouse. The other photo is a take & make craft we did at the library. Simply spread peanut butter [or other edible adherent] on a paper towel roll, roll it in seeds, put a string through it and hang it in a tree! We've had a lot of birds [and some squirrels] enjoying these inexpensive, impromptu bird feeders. Robbie says a squirrel just took the whole thing away. That's okay. More where that came from...
