Field Park

Did I ever send photos of Field Park? Hugh and I were up there because we did the Historical Society scavenger hunt over Labor Day. One of the clues was “who is Field Park named for?” Kind of like “who’s buried in Grant’s tomb?” He was curious so we drove up. Field Park used to be full of specimen trees until one of those huge storms went through (before storms had names). Now it has picnic tables and horseshoe pits and a nice overlook to the river if you’re willing to climb up a bank. And there is a field up there.
