Did you know there are two ways to grow dahlias? If you like the dahlia you’ve grown, then dig up the tuber after frost and keep cool and dry over the winter. Or, harvest the seed and plant the following year. The difference is that the tuber will give you the same flower, the seed will give you a hybrid due to pollination.
